Serpentix at IFAT Munich 2026: Connecting with the Global Water and Wastewater Industry

IFAT Munich is one of the largest environmental technology trade shows in the world, and the 2026 edition didn’t disappoint. Spread across 18 indoor exhibit halls plus a large outdoor area for vehicles and heavy equipment, the four-day event drew attendance at full capacity every single day. For Serpentix, it was an opportunity to put our conveyor systems in front of an international audience — and the conversations that followed made the trip well worth it.

What We Brought to the Booth

Our team staffed a dedicated booth and ran live product demonstrations throughout the show. Visitors could see Serpentix conveyor components up close and ask direct technical questions about how our systems handle the specific material challenges common in municipal and industrial water treatment — biosolids, screenings, sludge cake, and more.

The Pathwinder — our flagship and most widely specified model in municipal wastewater treatment — was the center of those conversations. Its 150-foot maximum length, 45-degree incline capacity, and 6-foot radius design makes it relevant to the broad range of facility layouts that international attendees were working with. We also handed out nearly 200 branded bottle openers over the course of the event — a small thing, but it gave people a reason to stop, and the booth conversations that followed were substantive.

The Reach Was Global

The most significant outcome from IFAT wasn’t just the volume of traffic — it was the geographic range. Over the four days, we had meaningful conversations with professionals representing 14 countries outside the United States:

Germany, England, Ireland, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Israel, Korea, China, Argentina, and Brazil.

That breadth reflects what IFAT is: a genuinely international forum for the water and wastewater industry, not just a regional trade show. Engineers and facility managers from across Europe, Asia, and the Americas were evaluating equipment and building relationships with manufacturers — and Serpentix was part of those conversations.

Why International Presence Matters

Wastewater infrastructure challenges don’t stop at any border. The material handling problems that municipal treatment facilities face in Europe and Latin America are often structurally similar to those in North American plants — tight footprints, continuous operation requirements, demanding material characteristics. Our Pathwinder and Model-Hsystems were designed to address exactly those constraints, and the interest from international attendees confirmed that the value proposition translates across markets.

For facilities evaluating conveyor options for new construction or system upgrades, our team is available to review your layout and material handling requirements. Submit your drawings for a free engineering review or find your regional representative to start the conversation.
